After forming a few shoe teams with Converse in 2017 and 2019, A $ AP Nast made the decision to leave the One Star brand and join the Reebok family. The move was not announced and was essentially put in the spotlight when the two unveiled their Classic Leather Legacy collaboration earlier in 2021. And now it looks like both sides will be making more releases, one being this. new red and black colorway of the Reebok Zig Kinetica II Edge designed to tackle the trails.
Teased by the Harlem-born rapper himself, the shoes – which are labeled as a project with his NST2 imprint – are mostly crafted with bold red uppers and are accessorized with suede overlays and warped lines throughout. rod, all of which are dipped in a solid black. Bold yellow accents are also invited to dress up the laces – which are held together by a toggle – the Reebok logos on the side sides, the overlays next to the toe tips and the exposed stitching on the back. In addition, the heel tabs are embellished with the NST2 branding. The grippy soles underneath are forged with Vibram rubber to provide wearers with sufficient traction when walking on dirt hiking trails or on the streets.
No release information has been confirmed yet, but you can probably expect Reebok to release them in the coming months.
Previously, Reebok had previewed a pair of Club C friends and family inspired by the EAMES house.
