Although Converse is best known for some of its basketball-turned-lifestyle shoes, the Boston-based brand has recently been experimenting with new shapes, materials and styles. Example: the Converse Aeon Active CX.
Cushioned with Nike React foam, the upcoming pair seemingly came from the future. The exaggerated midsole solution plays a complementary role to the mesh and leather upper, which is covered in a mix of gray tones. Pink and purple hues enter the mix via the Chevron logo on the side profile and molded heel support structure, respectively. The sneaker-informed tread underfoot also indulges in varying shades of gray, complementing the rather lackluster look of the pair.
A Converse.com US release date has not been disclosed, but the pair is set to launch in Europe on Tuesday, June 14. In the meantime, enjoy the pair’s product shots ahead.
Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, the Air Jordan 1 is set to release in more colorways before the end of 2022.
