Demi Moore gave the all-leather style a makeover at the Chloé Fall 2022 show during Paris Fashion Week. The actress was joined in the front row by Maria Sharapova, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Marisa Tomei, among other stars.
The ‘Ghost’ actress left her hotel en route to the show wearing a head-to-toe Chloé ensemble, including a tan leather trench coat with monochrome button detailing. The sleek outerwear was paired with a white leather midi skirt, along with a black turtleneck top and woven brown leather belt. Moore’s look was complete with her own eyewear, as well as the French brand’s $1,950 Kattie handbag, which featured a white leather construction with a tricolor bracelet-like handle.
Moore’s shoes of choice were also from Chloe, consisting of a pair of black leather boots. For a hybrid twist, the $995 Jamie style also featured black knit wool uppers, merging classic Chelsea and modern sock styles. The pair was complete with slightly square toes with scalloped stitching, as well as tan rubber soles. The styling gave Moore’s outfit a comfortable and slightly utilitarian feel, fitting in perfectly with her similarly textured ensemble.
Chloé’s rewilding-inspired Fall 2022 collection, designed by Gabriela Hearst, shone a light on the ability of nature and the global climate to take care of itself. The line featured an array of nature-inspired prints, faded hues and mixed textures across knits, puff sleeve tops, tunics and leather jackets paired with painted accessories, stitched handbags and heritage jewelry. Footwear ranged from Chloé’s new low-impact trainers to hiking boots for an added focus on nature. In a notable effort to help with environmental conservation and sustainability, the collection was produced in partnership with the organizations Akanjo, Gee’s Bend, and the Indigenous Women’s Scholarship Program.
When it comes to footwear, Moore opts for sleek and versatile pairs on the red carpet. The MTV Movie Award-winning actress’ go-to styles are pointed, peep-toe pumps and strappy sandals, often from brands like Christian Louboutin, Brian Atwood and Jimmy Choo. When off duty, Moore can be seen in sneakers from Nike, New Balance and Converse. The actress has recently become a fashion staple, appearing on the catwalks and front rows for Dior, Fendi and Versace. She has also appeared in campaigns for Andie Swim, Ann Taylor and other brands over the years.
