Nicky Hilton was dressed for spring as she rehearsed for the 2022 Oscars. The star walked the red carpet while practicing her live appearance tonight, where she will discuss Oscars design trends with Roshumba Williams and ABC7 meteorologist Leslie Lopez for “On the Oscars Red Carpet.”
The French Sole collaborator arrived for the occasion in an Alice + Olivia multicolored floral maxi dress. The elegant piece featured a print of many flowers, as well as thin straps and a deep neckline. Complementing the elegant empire waist piece are oversized sunglasses.
“Rehearsal day!” Hilton captioned a photo of herself posing with a large Oscars statue on Instagram.
For shoes, the “Paris in Love” star opted for a cute pair of strappy sandals. Featuring a light yellow hue that perfectly coordinated with her dress, Hilton’s style also included thin toes and strappy detailing on thin soles.
Strappy sandals are a big trend this season, with thin straps between the toes that allow for a breathable, minimalist silhouette. Flats and stilettos have become popular styles, as evidenced by new pairs from Blowfish Malibu, Porte & Paire and Tory Burch. Besides Hilton, stars like Kendall Jenner, Zendaya and Dua Lipa have also worn flip flops from Simon Miller, Valentino and Miu Miu in recent weeks. While Hilton is no stranger to sleek sandals, she often prefers pointy-toe pumps, like the Mach & Mach style she wore at the brand’s Nordstrom capsule launch this month.
Glamorous mules have become one of today’s must-have shoes during the resurgence of high heels. Most pairs feature pointed or open toes with flared or stiletto heels, with an added punch with bright colors, prints or crystal accents. Hilton is one of many stars who have made mules her signature; in recent weeks, stars like Tessa Thomspn, Elsa Hosk and Rachel Zegler have also worn Amina Muaddi, Prada and Mach & Mach styles.
When it comes to footwear, Hilton’s styles are glamorous and chic, with a nod to her early 2000 years in the spotlight. The star often favors pointed-toe, platform pumps in neutral tones from Valentino, Chanel and Dior. Her red carpet looks feature similar styles adorned with bows and crystals by Mach & Mach, Giannico and Rene Caovilla. When it comes to dressing outside of work, Hilton wears pointed flats from her own French Sole line, as well as Adidas sneakers.
