While two years away from its 35th anniversary, the Nike Dunk Low continues to dominate “wish lists” everywhere without having to rest on its laurels. Ahead of Spring 2022, the iconic Peter Moore design emerged in a predominantly ‘white’ colourway with hits of a rosy and light ‘medium curry’ tone.
Similar to a very popular predecessor sporting the aforementioned brown colorway, the upcoming sneaker features a mix of high-quality synthetic leather and hairy suede on its upper. Shades of “white” take up much of the upper half of the pair, with paneling around the toes, along the tongue, and near the ankle donning a purer variation of the dominant hue. The contrast, however, comes into evidence via the profile swooshes, laces, and heel top panel, which recalls the Nike Dunk “Medium Curry” low that dropped in late March 2021; in some lights and angles, the design choice omits a rosy tint. Regardless of its exact name on the Pantone Matching System, the color has already helped the sneakers garner notable interest on social media, which will certainly translate into a successful launch and could encourage the Swoosh to outfit other silhouettes in the light color reminiscent of curry.
No official Nike SNKRS Release details have been leaked by the brand, but that’s expected to change as spring approaches. In the meantime, enjoy the first images of the pair below, courtesy of @brandon1an on Twitter.
