The WNBA season may be coming to an end, but there’s still plenty to talk about. A’ja Wilson was recently named league MVP, the Sue Bird-Diana Taurasi WNBA cover edition of NBA 2K23 has just been released, and Game 2 of the Finals is on Tuesday.
Also on Tuesday, we got a quick look at a new Nike basketball shoe. Specifically, the “Sabrina Ionescu” colorway of the Nike Air Zoom GT Cut 2. The specific colorway tied to the first WNBA All-Star is set to drop on October 13th.
Here are some photos of the beautifully crafted shoe to hold you over for another month.

We’ll have to wait a while to see Ionescu wear them in a WNBA game, but the shoe arrives just in time for the start of the NBA season. Could we see any of the male players with these shoes on their feet in October?
We will see.
Either way, these shoes are super clean and they feel light enough to perform well on the court.
From my seat, these are a success. Well done Nike. Well done Sabrina.
