Peter Benstock will focus on transition and strategic initiatives; announces effective retirement in 2023
SEMINOLE, Fla., May 12, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Superior Group of Companies, Inc. (NASDAQ: SGC), is pleased to announce the hiring of Catherine Beldotti Donlan, a multifaceted business executive with close 25 years in the garment and footwear industry. Effective immediately, Beldotti Donlan will assume the role of President of the Company’s Superior Uniform Group – Healthcare (SUGH) division.
Beldotti Donlan’s impressive track record in strategic leadership is characterized by notable successes in building and growing sales, marketing and product development teams. His extensive experience spans multi-channel, wholesale, retail and direct-to-consumer verticals for iconic brands such as Converse.®puma®Rika®and Reebok®. Most recently, Beldotti Donlan served as General Manager and Senior Vice President of Retail for Innocor, while also serving as Executive Advisor and Board Member of wellness and fitness brands.

In 2018, Beldotti Donlan began her most recent role at Innocor™, where she led a $430 million business that covered a variety of traditional brands. At Innocor, Beldotti Donlan spearheaded a strategic shift that strengthened underdeveloped channels, driving double-digit growth after flat or declining revenue. She spent the previous seven years as General Manager for North America and Vice President of Converse, where she built a legacy of success, including defining strategies that led the company to cross the threshold of a billion dollars in revenue. Prior to Converse, Beldotti Donlan spent over three years at Puma North America leading strategic growth initiatives for key accounts. These successful roles were sparked by his love for fitness and built on his early career in sales, marketing and product development at Ryka and Reebok. She earned her bachelor’s degree in international affairs from Tufts University, where she also served as captain of the Tufts lacrosse team.

Along with the hiring of Beldotti Donlan comes the announcement that Peter Benstock will transition to a strategic advisor role for the remainder of 2022 before retiring in 2023. Benstock will spend the remainder of his tenure serving as an internal resource to help Beldotti Donlan. as President, while also focusing on other strategic initiatives.
