The Tri Kappa Red Stocking Fund’s 16th annual campaign begins this week, just as the last money raised last year is used by the Noblesville Township Trustees office and schools. Last year over $ 17,500 was raised which will be used throughout the year for students and families in the community of Noblesville who are less fortunate. Over the past 16 years, over $ 191,500.00 has been raised to support this community fundraiser. Every year there is a need that many of us don’t have. Many families have been stretched to the limit of their finances. We hope you will listen to your heart and consider a donation.

Tri Kappa’s Beta Epsilon chapter of Noblesville and The Times newspaper have once again joined forces to promote this Red Stocking Fund. These funds provide the children of Noblesville with shoes, clothing, school supplies and shelter, as well as medicine and other essentials deemed necessary. Tri Kappa is pleased to provide this source of funds to Noblesville Schools for use at their discretion with the Township of Noblesville Trustee providing a single mother with her mortgage, utility and water bills this year, as well as others.

The Times again agreed to partner with Tri Kappa in this campaign by providing a donation form once a week in the newspaper asking readers to respond. Your donation will give you the opportunity to submit a newspaper message to wish someone a Merry Christmas, honor a loved one, or celebrate your family. The amount of the donation is not published and any amount is certainly appreciated. A donation form can be found in today’s newspaper, giving everyone a chance to get involved in this worthy project.

“This help would not be possible without The Times and the cooperation of the Township of Noblesville Board of Trustees,” said Mary Jane Polsgrove, President of the Red Stocking Fund. “This community has a servant’s heart and is always ready to help when needed… and it’s fun for people to see their names in the newspaper.

Donations will be collected today until Christmas. Checks may be made payable to the Red Stocking Fund and mailed to Noblesville Red Stocking Fund, PO Box 162, Noblesville, Indiana, 46061.
