Wale showcases his love for ‘Tiffany Nikes’ in new video

Wale is the ultimate sneakerhead in his new video Folarin II follow “Tiffany Nikes”.

Filmed largely inside the Diamond Supply Co. store in Los Angeles, the video also features appearances from Paul Rodriguez and Nicky Diamonds, who engineered the song’s namesake, Tiffany Dunks.

To mark the release of the video, Wale is teaming up with shopping app NTWRK, where they’ll be giving away a coveted pair of Tiffany Nike SB Dunks for just $1. Interested participants can join through the NTWRK appbefore Wale announced the winner on March 7.

Since its release in the early 2000s, the skate sneaker has been part of sneaker lore. In 2018, Nicky Diamonds said Single manifold whether or not he thought his Dunks were the best SBs ever.

“I don’t know if it’s the biggest SB. I think at the time it was the most publicized. Back in 2005, I think a lot of it may have had to do with it being such an original colorway that no one ever used, which is weird because it’s been a Tiffany and Co. colorway ever since. so many years,” he said. “I’ve never seen it on t-shirts, clothes, sneakers or anything before, so I was like, ‘Fuck man, I’m just gonna put it on a shoe,’ because I did a t-shirt at the time with the logo in the color and everyone was tripping over it. When I had the opportunity to do the Nike, I did this colorway and I think people freaked out, because no one had seen it on anything before. What bothered people was that I made everything look luxurious with the croc skin and the silver Swoosh. was, like, the most luxurious shoe at the time.

Wale, meanwhile, can next be seen alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in Michael Bay’s upcoming action thriller. Ambulance, which hits theaters on April 8.
