Converse embark on their new adventure with A-Cold-Wall by Samuel Ross, under which they have created an ultra-modern sneaker design.
According to A-Cold-Wall’s Instagram post, the collaboration invested 18 months in designing and manufacturing these new pairs. The duo created two new iterations of the Aeon Active CX sneakers: “Micro Chip and Healing Jade” and “Black and Apple Green.”
Samuel teamed up with Converse earlier in 2020 and released All-Star Chuck Taylor Lugged Boots, which became a hot seller shortly after launch.
Shoes designed in collaboration A-Cold-Wall x Converse with sculpted soles
The shoes feature a spectacular chunky sole that makes them more exclusive and appealing to sneakerheads. Like other eco-friendly fashion brands, it crafted its exaggerated sole with Nike’s Crater foam and CX foam. The first is made with around 12% recycled waste, which is collected in the factory.
Sculpted soles in “Micro Chip and Healing Jade” and “Black and Apple Green” colorways are made with different colors.
The pairs’ stretch-knit uppers allow for easy entry into shoes. The flexible collars next to the knitted uppers are ideal for ensuring fit and support. These collars are highlighted in different colors in the two iterations.
The two lateral sides possess the mark of the collaboration. One side is printed with “ACW” and “A-COLD-WALL”, while the other side is debossed with Converse’s signature logo. On top of that, the wide midsoles are also adorned with the branding of both labels.
The heel tabs are decorated with a black knit fabric printed with A-Cold-Wall branding on it. White translucent outsoles hold foam midsoles firmly.
The label described their latest collaborative collection as follows:
“The future of comfort is active. Blending A-COLD-WALL’s design purpose and revolutionary Converse CX technology, the limited-edition Aeon Active CX is built to move forward.
