Although there is snow on the ground and the temperatures have dropped, the students are still showing off their best fashion this season.
Kelis Ward, a freshman psychology student, said her go-to outfit for this winter season includes jeans, a sweater and Doc Marten boots.
“The Docs are my favorite shoes to wear during this time,” Ward said. “I love fluffy sweaters. They’re comfy when I walk from class to class.
Some brands are bringing lowriders, high boots and fluffy hats back to the fore. Brands like H&M sell turtlenecks and blouses at prices ranging from $20 to $50.
White is the color of this winter season and can be found in many garments, from blazers to pants, said Harper’s Bazaar.
Some students adopt the color white.
“I usually wear muted colors,” said Timothy Dziekan, a young political science student. “So nothing super flashy.”
For the other students, they choose darker colors.
“I wear anything dark black or green or navy blue,” Ward said.
UGG shoes are making a comeback this season.
“I wear Uggs, my worn-out Uggs,” said Lorren Melendez, a freshman accounting student. “In winter, I mainly wear black with my Uggs.”
The students recommend not wearing shoes this season that could get dirty.

“I wouldn’t wear Converse and stuff like that,” Ward said. “I wouldn’t wear shoes that get damaged easily.”
According to Bustle, the best shoes for winter include oxford loafers, furry kicks, and versatile rain boots.
Even though it’s winter, students are still accessorizing.
“I have a red beanie that I will wear if it gets really cold,” Dziekan said. “With some nice black gloves.”
Vogue’s New Year’s Eve 2022 episode is all about this year’s trends. The hottest trend for the new season is necklaces and rings, which Ward says are her favorite accessories.
Other students choose to bundle up with accessories for the winter season.
“I can’t go without leggings,” Ward said. “They are too comfortable.”
Gloves are also an essential warm accessory for winter. Brands like North Face Isotoner and Old Navy offer gloves at affordable prices.
For some, their favorite accessory is more sentimental and nostalgic.
“The piece I can’t live without is my necklace with my grandparents’ names engraved on it,” Melendez said.
Trends move forward and fashion follows, and Seton Hall students continue to showcase their winter wear.
